Agroforestry in western Uganda

Forests are more than just trees — they are life-givers. They clean the air we breathe, protect the water we drink, and provide food and income for families. Around the world, over 1.6 billion people depend on forests for their survival. Yet every day, more trees are lost, fueling climate change and leaving communities vulnerable.we believe that restoring forests means restoring hope. through planting, protecting, and caring for trees in Uganda, we are creating carbon sinks that slow global warming, shielding soil and water from erosion, and preserving the rich biodiversity that sustains both people and wildlife.Every tree planted is a promise — a promise of cleaner air, stronger communities, and a safer climate for the next generation.Together , we can turn bare land into green forests and give both people and nature the chance to thrive.
