Equity ,climate Reparations and Rights
Since 2022, Rejoice Africa Foundation has been at the forefront of advocating for equity, climate Reparations and Universal protection of human rights. Our work highlights the urgent need for transformative global action, particularly addressing the responsibilities of Global north towards the global south.
Addressing Historical inequalities,
The global south, bearing the brunt of centuries of exploration and environmental degradation, continues to suffer from systemic inequalities. Rejoice Africa Foundation recognizes this imbalance and calls for equity through structural reforms and reparations. Advocacy underscores that global north as the primary contributors of harsh climatic changes and historical injustices must lead to providing climate reparations. These reparations are important not only to respond to the environmental damages but also to empower vulnerable communities, gender and age groups to adapt and grow in a changing climate.
Piloting Fair Start standards for women and children.
This pilot is centralized using the Afrocentric model of the Fair Start standards, designed to ensure every child from the global south receives all basic needs and access to opportunities to grow well. This is through using women care groups structure in decentralization systems to reach real affected communities in the global south.
This initiative addressing system barriers, focused on the equitable access to basic needs as stipulated in UN Children rights. This pilot has been doing education, Healthcare/nutritional support through kitchen gardens and Agroforestry, economic empowerment through using child saving systems and encouraging small family sizes. This has helped in reorienting women in the Care groups to carry obligations to plan for Their families using Fair start standards and getting funding support of €15000 euros grant as reparations from Fair Start Movement in the period of three years ( from 2022 to 2024) for more information, open the following links

Climate Reparations as moral imperative.
Climate Reparations are not merely about financial compensation but about rebuilding trust and fostering solidarity. Rejoice Africa Foundation is mobilizing international coalitions of Activists to demand accountability from wealthy Nations, funders, donors, Philanthropies, Foundations and nonprofits while amplifying the voices of those most affected by climate change. Our pilots have spotlighted stories and effects of harsh climate change in western Uganda (girls Voice video First, second and third ) Amboseli in Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria.
